The zinc plate with the etched table cloth image was relief printed. The iron shape was relief printed from card coated with gray ink. Aluminum powder was dusted onto the wet gray ink.

The electrical wall plate was inked by a roller coated with gray ink. A contact  impression was taken onto a plastic sheet and off- set onto the print. The cord and plug were screen printed.

Unlike ironing done at home, ironing that is done in commercial laundries is paid.
