Notes
The drawing of bows was done in preparation for the series of monoprints called Tying Hands.

The bow in this print was drawn on the BFK Rives white paper with a transparent rectangle printed over the drawing. The figure of the housewife with the laundry basket was heat transferred to the rag paper.

This work was made to represent the constant necessity to interrupt art production with housework. The pencil drawing like many parts of the creative process, is unfinished, and the pencil has been laid down, while the housewife carried a load of laundry to the washing machine in the basement. There are 3 similar variations of this work which locate the position of the pencil
slightly differently.
