Notes
This apron was made from a light fabric handkerchief. The apron was printed from its contact impression in purple ink. The gradations of colour were added from inked card stencils. The dark background was added later from an inked card around a blocking stencil.

This is a hostess apron which disguised the labour involved in preparing meals for guests.
