Notes
This apron was arranged in red ink on an arborite surface and passed through the etching press. The dark background was added later from an inked card, placed over a block out stencil for the image, and printed through the etching press.

This image represents Christmas overload. Housewife/mothers add the Christmas preparations to an already full family agenda. Various degrees of overload and collapse are the result. The economy benefits from her Christmas spending, but the government takes the economic benefits of her effort for granted and exploits her labour.
