Notes
This apron was printed from its contact impression in blue ink on an arborite surface. The dark background was added later from an inked card, around a blocking stencil laid over the apron. The colour gradation on the apron ties were printed from an inked card through paper stencil openings.

A headache caused by family pressure and overload is often endured when no one else is willing or able to prepare meals. The coloured sections of the ties indicate the location of pain from a throbbing forehead.
