Unlike most of the Exploited Apron images, this green apron has a sienna brown background. The brown background was an experiment to determine how much difference the colour makes to the appearance and meaning of the print. A variation of this image was printed with a background that has a gradation in tone. This was another experiment to discover the visual effect of the sienna background.
