The Paper Bag image was printed from an inked bag. The face photo image was heat transferred. The background was relief printed.

The paper bag came from the supermarket, where shopping for a family requires much time and energy from a housewife. The Canadian artist Paraskeva Clark remarked that “ There’s just cooking, cooking, cooking, Loblaws and Dominion,” when she lamented this drain on her creative time.
